New single release: Bennson (RAF038)
Last time we heard Bennson's "Whatever It Is" we got to feel the summer groove of the original and a bumpin' house remix by Soul Tornado. This time around Sonar Kollektiv signed producer Christian Prommer gets a good feel for the vocals and adds a heavy Detroit techno sound to it for all the heavier dance floors to get high on. This is a true killer track with crushed basslines and dubbed out vocals that can get even the purest men and women high on life! On the flip our friend Simon Grey turns the track back to the original souful sound but cranks it up a knotch with his jazzy broken beat sound. Slingshot moogs and deep bass will strip all DJ's down to their bare skin when they spin this one over and over. This is gonna be a mega hit for all West London broken boys and girls out there that can get boogie down to anything from Bugz and the Restless crew to Attica and the Co-op team. On this flipped side there is also a bonus preview of the album to come with Bennson's "Can't Get Enough" that is a smooth downbeat soul/R&B smash with all the right ingredienses for a souparty! With so many of the right picks you surely can't sleep on this one!

This Luther Vandross-like release is going to bless the dance floors around the globe this summer when Raw Fusion premiers this Bennson release with pride! The badass Bamboos producer Bennson has gone real souful with this fresh solo boogie project where the late 70's party feel of Marvin's "Give It Up" and Luther's "Bad Boy" give influence to his first single on Raw Fusion that will warm things up for the album which is due early this fall. "Whatever It Is (pt.1)" is also featuring a fat bumpin' soulful house remix by Soul Tornado that will surely make all the female sex fall flat on the dance floor this summer when all Raw Fusion supporters kick it real on the decks!

New album release: Melo (RAFCD011)
When Sweden's most promising prodigal son adds virtual lyrics of untrue love and his impeccable dedication to music on tape we can expect nothing but trouble. His Marvin-like vocals smooth as butter on a hot summer day is sure to melt the heart of any lady that comes across it. This spring of 2008 Raw Fusion Recordings is more than proud to be releasing the debut album of Nils "Melo" Tull. Presented and co-produced by the grand Swedish house producer Rasmus Faber, this album just echoes of heart melting success!

Brought up within a musical family on the most southern part of the Scandinavian peninsula, Melo has constantly been surrounded by tones clinging forth his future as one of the finest soul vocalists in Sweden's history of recorded music. Since moving to Stockholm 8 years ago, Melo has worked with and for internationally known Swedish as well as international talents such as Stephen Simmonds, Christian Waltz, Eric Gadd, Pauline, Simbad, Up Hygh, Rasmus Faber and many more. With his solo album in progress, Melo has simultaneously been busy rendering musical endeavours for his part in the 11-man strong band Hoffmaestro, which had its debut album released late January this year. These past years he's also been working along side Rasmus Faber creating timeless house anthems, as well as the exceptional vocal tracks he's laid on the recent Marvin Gaye cover produced by Simbad on his album released on Raw Fusion Recordings. And not to mention his recent project with former Up Hygh member Pure P where they together form a Detroit inspired adventure to inspire even the likes of late Jay Dee.

Also adding to this superb listening experience Melo takes us even higher when he converts this wonderful debut album into a top notch hand clapping/finger snapping live performance together with some of the finest musicians in Sweden, among others Thomas "The" Eby (percussion), Harry Wallin (drums), Mange Gudmundson (bass) and his good friend of many years and co-producer of the album, Rasmus Faber on keys.

It's time for the Raw Fusion Club season finale in Stockholm on June the 28th. And you know it's going to be a real big party when a legend like Mike Dunn joins us behind the decks.
